Free Admission:
- There will be no gate admission this year. No wristbands needed.

- The canteen in the Red Barn will be open at 8am both days
Show Times:
- Competitor numbers can be picked up Friday May 31st from 3pm-6pm at the announcer’s booth
- Show Office opens at 7:30 a.m. at the announcer’s booth both Saturday and Sunday.
- Show starts at 9am sharp Saturday and Sunday.
- The show will proceed rain or shine unless deemed unsafe by judge or SIRAS representative.
- No rain date, no refunds.
Changes / Cancellation Policy
Please contact the show secretary as soon as you know you have changes to make – Please do not wait until the day before or the day of the show. It is a lot of work to make changes, please get the changes to us ASAP.
- Refunds will only be given prior to May 24th less office fee via cheque after the show.
- No refunds May 24th to June 2nd
Overnight Stalls:
- STALLS ARE PRE-ASSIGNED – you cannot pick which one you want.
- 40 box stalls are available for $10 each night for those who require overnight stabling
- Friday to Saturday 6pm $10 Stall Fee
- Saturday 6pm to Sunday 6pm $10 Stall Fee
- Stalls are only for horses registered in the show
- You must clean out your stall prior to leaving the grounds
- Temporary pens not permitted on the grounds; competitors may tie to their trailers.
- There will be a stall list posted on Friday at 2pm. Check the list before you unload.

Show Rules & Class Explanations
- Proper footwear must be worn in all 3 rings (sand, grass & practice)
- Training aids such as draw reins, side reins, training forks, martingales & metal hackamores are not permitted.
- Halter classes are judged on the horse; showmanship classes are judged on the handler and presentation
- A horse may only be ridden twice per class and only once per age division
- Junior, Intermediate & Seniors can enter the Walk /Trot classes, but there is no cross entry into any loping classes on either day.
- Pee Wees are required to walk and jog only. Loping is not permitted for more than 3 strides & will be penalized per incident.
- Pee Wees can register in the Walk/Trot class as long as there is no pee wee class offered in that division (Western Pleasure).
- Pee Wees may move up to Junior division, but will remain in the Junior division for all classes both days.
- Rookie reining rules allow for the use of 2 hands and switching hands during reining class.
- Rookie reining pattern will be posted Saturday Morning.
- AQHA requires competitors be disqualified for taking the incorrect lead, we would like the judge not to disqualify them but work that fault into their judging score.
- We want to encourage participation & safety, so we do allow competitors to be assisted if needed. Contestant being assisted whether hands-on or verbally will be placed under those who are not being assisted.
- The show reserves the right to change the order of go, cancel or combine classes
- It is mandatory for all participants 18 years and under, to wear a correctly fitting CSA approved riding helmet. Helmets are recommended for senior riders 19+
- All participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or coach, who must remain on the grounds at all times.
- Horses found not sound or riders/horses considered unsafe will be excused by the judge or the appointed SIRAS representative.
- During a timed or judged event in the ring, the judge’s decision is final. Outside of the show ring, decisions made by the SIRAS representatives are final.
- Concerns should be directed to the SIRAS representative(s) immediately. Every effort will be made to mitigate the problem.
- NO STALLIONS, no exceptions.
- All dogs must be on a leash.
- Any direct confrontation or use of inappropriate language with the judge or show committee members will result in the following:
- Loss in prize money and points
- Eviction from show ring/grounds for the rest of the show and perhaps future years.
- The SIRAS and/or any person connected with, or officiating at this show are not responsible for any loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in this show or related events.
- Timed Games Brief Explanations :
- SIRAS Cup Shuffle is cups being placed on poles (no dismounting required)
- Speed Ball is dropping a golf ball into a pylon
Naeric Incentive Program
- The Stonewall Horse Show is a NAERIC sanctioned event.
- You must use horse’s registered name on the entry form for NAERIC points.
- Results will be posted on the webpage and facebook page 1 week after the show.
- Competitors are responsible to go online to www.naeric.org to enter their placing for each class to redeem their NAERIC rewards.
